Heliskiing in India

The surreal excitment of skiing at up to 5,00m in the Himalaya is hard to beat. The skiing in Manail can be sublime. With a tree line reaching 3,400m you find yourself floating effortlessly through rhodedendron bushes while the sun peeps through vaulted ceiling of Himalayan oak and stands of silver birch.

Height:
Skiing as high as 5030m (16,500ft).
No of Lifts: Heliski only.
Types of Pistes: All off-piste.
Main Advantages:
Beautiful range of mountains; culturally interesting; light, dry snow.
Drawbacks:
Not suitable for beginners; bad weather affects flying times; high fitness level required at greater altitudes.
