With Bariloche's bustling Grand Catedral ski area you can hardly wish for a more beautiful setting. Just 20km from the bustling city pearched high above the spectacular lake of Nahuel Huapi, Catedral is all that any Alpine resort could be: sophisticated, cosmopolitan and vibrant, with no fewer than eigth disco's, a casino and a delightfil ski village.

On the wide plateaux and bowls between the peaks lie a wealth of wide-open, largely intermediate slopes with good, high-speed crusiing and abundant off-piste. Lower down, as you enter the more wooded sections of the mountain, there are some excursions in the trees and bushes to be enjoyed by the more adventurous skiers.

Can access from neighbouring Chile via scenic Puyehue Pass.
